Our Story
The Footprints Family began in 2012, in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, when longtime friends Vincent Prezioso and Thomas Lore felt compelled to help New Yorkers affected by the storm.
After learning of a Brooklyn bar collecting supplies, Vincent shared his plans to gather donations on Facebook. Thomas asked, “Who are you doing this with?” Vincent replied, “I don't know. Maybe you.”

That simple exchange sparked what would become The Footprints Family, a nonprofit built on friendship, generosity, and community.
What began as two friends lending a helping hand has grown into a lasting tradition of giving, including its annual holiday toy drive.
Today, the organization remains guided by the same belief: making a difference doesn't require grand gestures. Sometimes, it simply begins with showing up for someone in need.
